MRV Fusion option

 

 

MRV now offers an integrated port (fiber or copper depending on model) that can be used to connect a redundant path for the FSO link. This can be anything, but typically would be an RF link of some type.

GigE FSO + 10/100 RF example

The below schematic depicts an RF backup link that has a 10/100BaseTX interface thus requiring some type of switch to connect the RF 10/100BaseTX interface to the 1000BaseSX fiber Fusion redundant path port on the TS5000/GF link in the example.
